The highly scalable XDAS offers a flexible framework for building and managing cost-effective SATA RAID storage solutions. The scalable XDAS subsystems can provide from 2TB in a standard 2U up to 18 terabytes in a 4Uand up to 6.4TB in a 3U format.  Bundled with either an Aberdeen Stirling server or AberSAN  iSCSI solution or included in the AberSAN-FC Starter Kit a pure Fibre Channel SAN solution, the XDAS scalable DAS delivers a storage capacity with the ability to add 3 XDAS units per SCSI port and up to 7 XDAS units per Fibre port. Daisy-chaining a with an Aberdeen XDAS subsystem can easily result in storage capacities in excess of (1PB) 1 petabyte.
